My name is Marita Hout. I have been sewing since my teens and have professional experience in altering bridal and casual clothing for 35 years. When preparing for your big day, I can promise you a stress-free, comforting and even memorable experience-at least when it comes to your dress! My resume includes altering dresses from Couture designers such as Inez DiSanto, Bernbaum and Bullock, Vera Wang and many more, although I alter for all price ranges. I have also made custom reconstructions such as transforming the style of a dress or incorporating sentimental heirlooms into a bridal gown. I offer one-on-one fittings (although family members are of course welcome!) at times suitable to a bride's busy schedule. Upon completing alterations, I personally steam all garments and may even arrange delivery options.
